Text message terms

Last updated: September 2026

Short version: if you call a business running Trellivo and nobody picks up, you get a text back. Reply STOP, or tell the business to stop any other reasonable way, and the texts stop. We never sell or share your number for marketing.

Who is texting you

The business you called. Trellivo (operated by Cornerstone BC, Inc. d/b/a Trellivo) builds and operates the system, but the sender of record is the business itself, and its name is in the first message. If you did not call anyone and you got a text, reply STOP and email us; that is a mistake we want to know about.

What the texts are

  • Missed-call text-back. You called, nobody answered, so you get a text within seconds asking how the business can help.
  • Replies to you. A conversation about your job, your quote or your appointment.
  • Follow-up on your inquiry. A small number of messages if a conversation goes quiet, all about the job you asked about.

What you will never get: unrelated marketing, an offer for a different company, or a message about anything you did not contact the business about.

Consent

You agree to receive text messages about your inquiry in one of three ways, and each one is something you do, never a default:

  1. Calling the business’s published number. If nobody answers, the missed-call text-back is the reply to your call.
  2. Texting the business first. A message you send opens the conversation, and replies come to the same number.
  3. Ticking the consent box on a request form. Every Trellivo-powered form that asks for a phone number carries an unticked, optional box. The form sends with or without it; a tick is the only thing that counts as consent, and it reads exactly:
I agree to receive text messages from Trellivo about my request. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything. You can withdraw it at any time and it will not affect the service you get.

How to stop

Reply STOP — or quit, end, cancel, unsubscribe, revoke or opt out — to any message. You can also tell the business to stop by any other reasonable means, including by phone or email. The system honors it immediately, and in every case within ten business days, and it applies to all future messages from that business, not just the thread you replied to. Reply HELP and you get contact details for a human. You can also revoke consent by emailing support@trellivo.app. We honor every revocation request within 10 business days, whatever channel it arrives on. Replied STOP by mistake? Reply START to resubscribe.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with the conversation; a missed call is usually one message, a job in progress may be a few. Msg & data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

We do not share your mobile phone number or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used to reply to you and for nothing else. It is not sold, not rented, and not shared with any third party for marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except for vendors that help us deliver messages (Twilio, our messaging platform provider), and only for that purpose.

Your number sits in the business’s own customer system, and the business can delete it on request.

If you are a Trellivo client

You are the sender of record and the messages go out under your business name. We register the number and operate the system on your behalf; you are responsible for having a real reason to text each person and for honoring every STOP. The system honors STOP automatically, and we will not remove that.
